Everyday, people with disabilities face abuse, discrimination and unnecessary segregation.
People 1st of Tennessee serves as an outlet for people with disabilities to air and alleviate
their concerns about disability related issues.
We offer training to Tennesseans with disabilities to address disability related issues and
concerns. Most of all, we offer community support and opportunities to become active,
productive and contributing citizens in the community.
People 1st of Tennessee has approximately 1,000 members which vary in age from teens to
seniors.
Our staff and volunteers are people with disabilities and, we are working together to put
